Tommie Macon, called the "songbird of the south" migrated from Washington
D.C. to Atlanta. Her voice is as lovely and full of delight as springtime in Atlanta;
once you experience it, others fade in comparison.
She has gathered a powerful, talented quartet in the Gentle Men of Jazz. Each
musician is accomplished and as a group they have become possibly the best combination
of jazz talent in the South. The band has repeatedly earned a place in the prestigious
Atlanta Jazz Festival. Their live shows provide a veritable feast for your ears,
serving jazz, blues, oldies and audience requests. You will leave the performance
well satisfied and thoroughly entertained. |
